Meeting in Devon

Joanna Ball (Chairlady) introduced the attending NAPHR Committee Members.

We had an excellent meeting but I did expect more attending to make our journey South worthwhile.

This was a reintroduction of regional meetings bringing NAPHR to the people who may otherwise not be able to travel to our AGM held in April each year.

Brian Doick (President) explained the 'Tribunal System' and referred to the civil / criminal Law, details of which will be found in the November Newsletter, several of these Acts could be very helpful to residents.

He also talked about the police 'Operation Kingpin' which took place in Worcestershire the outcome of which was, a park owner and several accomplices were convicted of arson on a park home site there.

He also stressed the need when selling your home to involve the services of a competent solicitor.

Several of those residents attending, spoke freely about the abusive and unlawful activities of their site owners.

In closing, Joanna advised residents to involve their local councillors and MP's, those people are elected to represent and support the people, make use of them to bring attention to the country leaders of problems which we face daily.

Thanks to all who attended the meeting.

Joanna Ball.
